In the framework of the exhibition Orden público: Vagos, Maleantes y Peligrosidad Social, Daniel Gasol invites us to participate in a workshop in the context of the La Model prison in Barcelona, one of the places where detainees under the Ley Vagos y Maleantes (1933-1970) and the Ley de Peligrosidad Social (1970-1995) were held and imprisoned in order to serve their corresponding sentences.
In the context of the ex La Modelo prison in Barcelona, we will be holding a round table with Daniel Gasol, with Antoni Ruiz and Silvia Reyes, two people sentenced under the Ley Vagos y Maleantes y Peligrosidad Social, who will share their experiences and legislative processes.
In the framework of the exhibition Orden público: Vagos, Maleantes y Peligrosidad Social, the artist Daniel Gasol will guide us through his extensive research on the files of the Ley de Vagos y Maleantes (1933-1970) and Peligrosidad Social (1970-1995), analysing how the legislation often turns the underprivileged classes into criminals, who must also redeem themselves by working for the State.
As the final party of Daniel Gasol's project, on Thursday 3 February we met up at the legendary bar El Cangrejo.

Within a space of imperceptible limits, we follow a character on her expedition to an unknown destination as she embarks on a series of curious encounters that will connect her to her surroundings. With each challenge, the character (the artist and director) interacts with objects and captivating artifacts that, linked together through action, create a set of sequences that trap us in a strange and hypnotic game.
Sobremesa is a project by Liliana Díaz in collaboration with Xavier Barriga that explores the way we feed ourselves and the content we choose to do so.
