Sara Agudo Millán
After graduating in Art and Design at the Escola Massana, she completed a Master in Artistic Production and Research at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona. Her artistic practice moves from research on the limits of perception and language. It crosses different disciplines and includes interventions in spaces, texts, installations, photography and drawing understood as recordings. Text is a prominent element in her work, understanding language as matter and as a way to amalgamate fragments of reality that can be expanded in performances or collected in publications and other media. Her work has been featured at Chiquita Room, Àngels Barcelona, Glogauair Berlin, Festival Panoràmic, Festival Embarrat, Galeria Catascopio, Mofuta Studio, Editorial Comanegra and Escola Massana. She received the Apertus 01 Grant from the Han Nefkens Foundation and Escola Massana, a Creation Grant from the Guasch Coranty Foundation, an Internationalization Grant from La Escocesa for a residency at GlogauAir Berlin and was selected by the Training Program Open Studio – Community of Madrid, where she continued her practice through 2019.
