El Emperador
2019
Tania Berta Judith tackles the arcane “The Emperor”, always related to power and authority, as a synonym of the patriarchal father. Using the myth of the death of King Minos, she exorcises his figure leaving behind an austere throne and his mantle, full of bees. In the same way that Daedalus helps Ariadne and Theseus to get out of the labyrinth by means of the thread, he finds in this same tool the solution to the Cretan king’s riddle. In this way he gives himself to his quest and can finally finish it.
