Vuelo (eres tú)
2026
Vuelo (eres tú) gathers the drawings of birds and flocks from the artist’s childhood notebooks, traced in their most synthetic form, an open V, and recomposed into a single scene. The V that is a bird can also be read, inverted, as a person: the stroke becomes a portrait and a nod of recognition to the second person. In the lower left corner, very small, the text “eres tú” appears screen-printed in blue, taken from the back of an old photograph.
Five-color screen print and sewing on tulle mounted on a frame.
63 x 70 x 2 cm.
