Hinterhof
2026
During April 2024, in a Kreuzberg apartment overlooking an inner courtyard (Hinterhof), the artist recorded one minute of that sound ecosystem every morning and every afternoon, sliding the recorder through a crack in the window. Hundreds of birds, bells, barks, a child’s voice, or rain compose a recording from the windowsill, analogous to that of Fensterbank, Berlin (2024), made from the same window. The piece is activated in two daily broadcasts, Vormittag (“morning”) at opening and Nachmittag (“afternoon”) before closing.
Sound piece activated in two parts of 24 min. each. Limited vinyl edition of the sound recordings gathered in Berlin, April 2024.
48 min.
