For this edition of Paris Photo, Chiquita Room presents a project by Alba Yruela, bringing together photographs made between 2019 and 2026. Structured across three spaces, the work traces an intimate journey through discomfort, solitude and those silent forces that push us toward metamorphosis. Melancholy appears here not as an endpoint, but as a territory to be crossed.

Alba Yruela
Alba Yruela (La Bisbal, 1989) comes from the Catalan region of Empordà, where she developed her passion for nature. She began photographing her surroundings, friends, and lovers from an intimate and delicate yet direct perspective, as well as her own solitude, movingly portrayed in multiple self-portraits.
