Artist talk between Teresa Estapé and Martí Peran, art critic, curator and author of the text for the exhibition Children and Fools.

According to the old adage that gives this exhibition its title, it is in childhood and in madness that we can live free from the demands of productivity. Through this approach, Teresa Estapé seeks to bring us back to a space of openness to question what “doing” means in contemporary Western society.

Martí Peran writes: “In much of her work, Teresa Estapé confronts us with what we could call the“zero point”: that place where nothing has crystallised yet but shows all of its potential for configuration. A blank page. White as a sheet. (…) They are all canvasses made up of pure warp and weft: a territory that is open to any possibility. “
