Bárbara Alegre

Visual artist and painter trained in plastic arts, design and applied arts at the Llotja School (Barcelona) and graduated in art and design at the Chelsea College of Art and Design (London, 2003). She is currently studying for an MA in painting at the Royal College of Art in London.
Her work is about time. Time as an axis to talk about many other themes such as memory, presence and absence, genealogy, motherhood, identity, origin, universality…. His pieces seek conceptual coherence while showing an interest in aesthetics, looking for that balance between beauty and meaning.
