Water with the Body Reading

As part of the exhibition Lullaby to Rouse a Little Girl, the co-authors of the book Quadern del cos i l’aigua, Mari Chordà (1942) and Montse Clavé (1946), will meet on Friday 19 September at 6.30 pm to give a poetry reading in the gallery.

Montse Clavé is a comic book artist, illustrator and feminist writer. In 1977, she began working as an illustrator at La Sal – Edicions de les dones (La Sal – Women’s Editions), where she collaborated with Mari Chordà on several projects. Her works and publications include: Las Entrañablesas (1977), Doble jornada (1977), Jenny de Westfalia (1977), La Mar (1978), Bety de BUP (1986), Cocinas de Allí-Aquí (1996–1998), the series El sabor en los grandes viajes (2000–2003) and Manual práctico de cocina negra y criminal (2004).
