Pere Ginard

Illustrator, filmmaker and alchemist. His work is based on the exploration of perpetual motion and the melancholy creation of duels, triumphs, monsters, prodigies and mystical outbursts, as well as sometimes unfinished observations of things that turn towards the sun and blond wavy-haired people with a tendency towards baldness.

He has exhibited his films and drawings in many art galleries and festivals both nationally and internationally, published several books and won awards related to photography, illustration and audiovisual.

For some years he has been developing an intense teaching activity that has led him to give workshops on film and animation in centers such as La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Arteleku, Donosti; Tabakalera, Donostia; CCCB, Barcelona; MACBA, Barcelona; National Film Institute of Nigeria, Nigeria; Centro España in Mexico, Mexico DF, etc.
