ARCOmadrid 2025 Fair
We are happy to announce our participation in the general program of ARCOmadrid 2025, after having been part of the young galleries section for the last two years.
We are very excited to take this step with the duo formed by Isabel Banal (Castellfollit de la Roca, 1963) and Laía Argüelles Folch (Zaragoza, 1986).
The choice of these two artists, both at different moments in their careers, is motivated by the desire to defend the quality of their work in the international market, also establishing connections between their practices and themes of interest, as a reflection of the careful curatorial work of Chiquita Room.
Isabel’s chosen works belong to a 20-year interval and they show the coherence in her practice and the consistency of her long trajectory. Laía’s pieces are all newly produced and mark the beginning of a new stage in her career, after the retrospective that the MARCO Museum in Vigo dedicated to her in 2024.
The dates of the fair are from March 5th to 9th of 2025.
