This translation was produced by photographing Walter Benjamin’s essay, Das Kunstwerk im Zeitalter seiner technischen Reproduzierbarkeit, as it appeared in the 1955 publication Schriften. The images were subsequently processed using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software and the resulting machine-readable text converted to English using Microsoft Translation Services.
