Celestino Boutique Exhibition
Celestino Boutique departs from the construction of a large design: a piece of furniture that functions as a container for the artist Hernán Aguirre’s personal archive. From it, a dialogue emerges between familiar objects, paintings and invented elements, where the real, the lie and the surreal blend together to narrate his own life as a fiction. Each object and each image act as fragments of stories that did not always happen, but reveal logics and relationships inherent to the personal archive. The exhibition, which features a curatorial text by Leto Ybarra, reflects on the notionof sculpture and the possibilities of avoiding it, blurring the boundaries between object and installation, and putting into tension what it means to construct.
Opening on Thursday, June 25 at 5:00 PM.

Artist
Hernán Aguirre
Hernán Aguirre (San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, 1993) is a visual artist. His practice is based on the assemblage of discarded materials, personal archives and objects charged with use and affection, through which he constructs works that explore public identities, the bonds between people and objects, and the artist's life as a social destiny. In his work, the precarious and the residual are articulated through an aesthetic of fragile luxury, generating tensions between dignity, loss and desire.
