Liliana Díaz

México, 1992

Liliana Díaz (Mexico, 1992) lives in Barcelona, where she develops her artistic practice by applying methods that materialize an approach between sculpture, installation, performance and other media. Her work is concerned with dismantling the relationship between container and content, the cycle, time, the living and the inert. She explores possible dialogues between nature and introspection, creating a communion between organic matter, landscape and its production. She is currently exploring the limits of ceramics and its potential for interaction with other materials. She holds a degree in Design from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and has exhibited individually and collectively in Mexico City, Oaxaca, Barcelona, Tarragona, Girona, Canary Islands and New York.
