Coco Esteve
Artist, educator and researcher, she currently lives and works in Barcelona, combining her artistic practice with projects related to education and contemporary art. Interested in the processes of contemporary artistic creation and the uncertainty of them, in the slow and leisurely making of embroidery, collage or analog photography among others, she explores the encounters between contemporary art, education and the audiences involved, attending to social transformations through art.
He has participated in different proposals such as the program Levadura de Pedagogías Invisibles in Madrid, Resistències Artístiques de Consorcio de Museos de Valencia or the cultural mediation program in the artistic residence El Ranchito in Matadero Madrid. She has also participated in different national and international collective and individual exhibitions.
She has a Master’s degree in Art Education in Social and Cultural Institutions from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2017. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the San Carlos Faculty of the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2014, finishing these studies at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China 2014. Degree in Photography from the Escuela Superior de Arte y Diseño de Valencia in 2009, finishing it at the Fachhochschule Münster, Germany in 2009.
