Asier Rua
His vocation as a photographer arose in 2001 when he learned about Alberto Schommer’s “Autobiografía de un madrileño”. The following year he moved to Madrid where he studied photographic image arts at the TAI school. Since then he lives and works in Madrid photographing interiors for national general and specialized publications, such as AD España, El País Semanal, Yo Dona, Elle Decor, MiCasa, Proyecto Contract, Muud Magazine, Singulares Magazine, Oficinas or Tiger magazine, and international, such as Frame (Holland), Casa Claudia (Portugal), CasaUrbana (Portugal), DyD (Argentina), VD (Chile), PLOT (Argentina), Residenze (Holland), and publishers such as Parramón, Ifengspace (China), Hustpas (China). He is the author of the exhibition “Mercat de Sant Antoni before (and after) and after”.
