Rereading Rosmarie
2026
Starting from a double photo frame joined by two small hinges, the work proposes a game of mirrors: the right page reflects the text that, inverted, appears on the left. Arranged there, set in lead movable type, are brief excerpts by Rosmarie Waldrop on echo, dream, and reflection, transferred through frottage. The frame is hung by its right side and closes like a book. Ajar, it invites you to open it a little further to re-read.
Double frame with mirror half-open at 45º, colored pencil frottage on paper, texts by Rosmarie Waldrop set in Bembo 12pt lead movable type.
13 x 10 x 9 cm. approx. (half-open) | 13 x 20 x 1 cm. (open) | 13 x 10 x 2,5 cm. (closed)
