La copisteria de mi pueblo
2024

A tribute to one of the simplest and simplest bindings that we have all used at some point: the spiral.
And it is also a tribute to one of the busiest shops in my village: the copy shop.
All the inhabitants make use of this establishment to order, preserve or even honour some of their documents by means of simple photocopies on dina4 paper and spiral-bound.
This piece, made entirely in this small shop in my village, honours and democratises the art of making books.
Dina4 paper, scans and b/w photocopies of all the spirals in the shop.
It is an unnumbered edition emphasising the infinitude of the reproduction of the document that photocopying provides us with.
