Vora de riu Exhibition

On Saturday the 14th of June at 12 p.m. at the gallery we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the installation Vora de riu, a very early work by Isabel Banal i Xifré. This work was presented on the 14th of June 1995 in her first solo exhibition at the Àngels de la Mota gallery in Goya Street, Barcelona. We are very honoured to be able to show it again now at Chiquita Room, in a kind of re-enactment of that debut. Some of the most significant elements of Isabel’s work are a constant and give validity and total coherence to her long trajectory. The installation can only be visited for three days. To take advantage of this brief occasion, on Tuesday the 17th of June at 7 p.m. we will bring together Isabel Banal i Xifré, Àngels de la Mota and Laura González Palacios, director of Chiquita Room, to talk about the installation.
