From Blood to Fire Current exhibition

The exhibition From Blood to Fire delves into the power of connection with liminal space and the underlying force in the unseen. Maria Freire Montané reflects on the processes that draw us closer to the force inside through listening, often concealed behind the hierarchy of the tangible over nature. She deploys her project through mixed methods, championing the performative act, the pictorial scene and sculpture, putting forward a multifarious space to facilitate an encounter in the guise of a song.
Opening on June 25th from 5PM to 9PM.

Artist
Maria Freire Montané
Maria Freire Montané (Granollers, 1995) was trained in the Montseny Valley and graduated in Art and Design at the Escola Massana, a refuge and starting point for her explorations. In her practice, she investigates the concept of liminal space, the boundaries between the tangible and the invisible, and she reflects on the processes that connect us with our inner strength, through listening, in close relationship with nature. Her work is structured through a transversal methodology that integrates performance, painting and sculpture.
