Mar Serinyà Gou

Visual and performance artist, her work is based on the study and experience of the creative process to reestablish links with ourselves and our environment. In recent years, her research has delved into issues of territory, memories of female lineage and ecology.

She holds a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona with a doctoral stay in the Department of Eurythmy at the Alanus Hocschule_ Germany and a Master of Artistic Creation from the University of Barcelona. Trained in the specialty of singing at the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Barcelona and in systemic methodology by Meta Systemic Institute of Barcelona.

As an artist she has exhibited and performed in Catalonia, France, Portugal, Italy, Lithuania, Norway and Australia. She has been awarded different prizes, grants and artistic residencies all over the world. Her work is part of the National Collection of Contemporary Art of the Culture Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
