Inspired by the basalt cobblestones of the Italian capital (sampietrini), Isabel Banal captures fragments of Roman streets through frottage and erases, by writing, the different types of roads in the city: via, vicolo, viale, piazza, corso… Collection created during her residence at the Spanish Academy in Rome.
