Annosh Urbanke
Holanda, 1992
Annosh Urbanke (1992) works in the areas of writing, curating, photography and artistic research. She has a background in museology and art history. In various projects, she photographs, writes, curates and researches nostalgic and contemporary forms of tourism. The affinity with the subject of ‘tourism’ started a few years ago with an investigation into how the Kodak company created an infrastructure for tourist photo opportunities. This produced textual and visual explorations around tourist experiences in museum and urban environments. This has resulted in two publications, a solo exhibition at Patty Morgan, a group exhibition at MAMA and side projects that build on this.
