The starting point of the Dobladura series is the curvature of space-time and the possible folds and bends that, hypothetically, would cause new temporalities, through meeting points in different coordinates.

The starting point of the Dobladura series is the curvature of space-time and the possible folds and bends that, hypothetically, would cause new temporalities, through meeting points in different coordinates. To materialize this idea, a rectangular clay plane of a certain thickness is taken, considering it as a sheet of space-time, and different folds are made. The piece is allowed to air dry (without an oven), so that time acts on it in interaction with the gravitational force and the material’s own perspiration (evaporation of moisture). The final shape of the piece reveals these invisible forces and time as it undergoes changes in the process of acquiring a stable final shape.
