DESCRIPTION:Stabat Mater is a project by Marina Sagona about motherhood and separation. A poem-film delves into loss through the refracted\, reframed\, repeated gaze. On 15 occasions\, the camera pulls back from a portrait of the artist\, painted by her former husband\, while the image is enlarged each time and the conversation he has with their daughter is heard in the background.
