SUMMARY:Mise en images
DESCRIPTION:Mise en images brings together a selection of artists’ publications based on the accumulation of images. The two editors –so to speak– of this exhibition share a passion for this transverse knowledge. For Rosa Lleó\, everything began in the bookshop where she worked in London\, as these were the only publications she could “read” while she worked. She could wander through them intuitively\, without having to start a paragraph or read a whole chapter. They could also be shared at any time without any need for explanation\, the viewer can understand them with just a glance. The relationship between images is one of the foundations of Pedro Torres’ work. Images in themselves or the structural devices that make their existence and distribution possible. An image is made in time and space\, just like a book. In this project\, Rosa Lleó and Pedro Torres open up their collection of these types of publications to the public\, hoping to share and reflect on the magic of the images. \n  \nDownload the exhibition leaflet here.
