SUMMARY:Letters to Hystera
DESCRIPTION:Faced with the need for referents and to share the experience of her hysterectomy\, Laia Arqueros embarked on Gynopia and the Spasm\, a project that directly addresses what it means to be a hysterectomized woman in contemporary society. Her parallel crisis of identity\, artistic and symbolic representation\, in addition to the invisibility of the issue\, have led her to question the patriarchal narratives of the uterus and its sole reproductive attribution\, as well as obstetric violence with productivist purposes. \nThis workshop that will take place on January 12 at 6 p.m. is an invitation to all those women and people born with female internal organs\, hysterectomized or not\, who wish to reflect through writing and/or drawing. This encounter arises from the committed desire to continue with the research of Laia Arqueros Claramunt from the collectivization of the stories that can be built from here\, from respect and care. \nInscriptions by e-mail to hola@chiquitaroom.com
