DESCRIPTION:From August 30 to September 1\, 2024\, Chiquita Room will participate in the contemporary art fair Art-o-rama in Marseille\, presenting the work of artists Laura Zuccaro and Xana Sousa. \nWe present a range of disclosures that will make us aware of the weight we carry and the weight we can discharge to keep moving forward\, aligned with our essence\, no matter where we are. Memory builds a nest like a house\, a shelter built by instinct\, similar to how some birds dig a safe place for their offspring in the ground. This space can arise from opposition to the past\, but above all it is about building believing in the future. \nLaura Zuccaro (Buenos Aires\, 1977) and Xana Sousa (Lisbon\, 1986) have a lucid talent for creating cosmogonies and emotional systems\, developing portable structures that take us from the past to the present and into the future in a safe way\, and both explore the primordial space and its transmission\, both materially and spiritually. \n  \nDownload here the dossier of the project
