DESCRIPTION:It is with great joy that we announce once again the participation of Chiquita Room in ARCOmadrid 2024. \nFor the second consecutive year\, the gallery will be part of the Opening section\, curated this time by Yina Jiménez Suriel and Cristina Anglada. In this space of discovery of new proposals and in support of young and international galleries\, we will present with great enthusiasm a new “in-house” duo\, formed by artists Alba Yruela (La Bisbal d’Empordà\, 1989) and Julia Aurora Guzmán (Santo Domingo\, 1993). \nFor the 43rd edition of the fair\, whose central project is the Caribbean\, the Opening curators wanted to incorporate “the desire” to the curatorial principle of thinking about the “how” we manage projects\, which will be shared by all the invited galleries.
